Quality assurance begins with an accurate specification. CS Global Procurement structures each enquiry so the material offered can be assessed against the buyer’s technical and commercial requirements.
Specification review
Buyers should identify mandatory parameters, acceptable tolerances, test methods and any market-specific requirements. Product names and typical values are not a substitute for an agreed specification.
Manufacturer documentation
Available documentation is confirmed for the exact manufacturer and grade offered. Typical documentation may include a technical data sheet, SDS, certificate of analysis and certificate of origin.
Batch and pre-shipment requirements
Where requested and commercially available, sampling, batch documentation or independent inspection requirements should be agreed before an order is placed.
Buyer approval
The buyer remains responsible for reviewing suitability, regulatory status, workplace controls and compatibility with the intended process. No substitution should be approved solely on the basis of a matching product name.
